The average salary in Serbia in May amounted to RSD 74,168 dinars - Half of the employees received up to RSD 56,582
The growth of gross wages in the period January-May 2022, compared to the same period last year, amounted to 13.4% in nominal terms, i.e. 3.8% in real terms. At the same time, net earnings have increased by 13.3% in nominal terms and by 3.8% in real terms.
When compared to the same month of the previous year, the average gross salary for May 2022 is nominally higher by 14.2%, and in real terms by 3.4%, whereas the average net salary is nominally higher by 14.1%, i.e. by 3. 4% in real terms.
Median net earnings for May 2022 amounted to RSD 56,582, which means that 50% of employees earned earnings up to the specified amount.
