Chinese Haitian to Invest EUR 100 Million in Ruma – Construction of Factory to Start Soon

The Chinese company Haitian and the Municipality of Ruma have signed an agreement on the sale of land in Ruma.

This is another in the range of big investments which have arrived to the municipality in the past few months, as reported on the B92 portal.

– We are proud of the new investment in our municipality, because the company Haitian is the biggest world producers of machines for injection under pressure, with 56,000 injection machines produced in 2021 and an annual sale of over EUR 2.2 billion. Haitian International belongs to Haitian Group Holding, which carries out production activities in five industrial fields, including injection machines, machines for casting under pressure, CNC machines, robots and automation and servo facilities – pointed out the president of the municipality of Ruma, Aleksandra Ciric.

Company planning to cover markets in Europe, Asia and USA

According to the CEO of Haitian International, Sun Yiming, this company expands its production bases and invests in Serbia. Their aim is to establish a new production base with good connections with the Port of Rijeka and a highway to Europe, from which they can cover the markets of Europe, Turkey, Russia, Middle East, India, and even the USA, with their machinery.

– Considering the position, the industrial possibilities, the availability of qualified workforce, the availability of land, the company chose Ruma with a belief that the municipality is the best place for investments and the establishment of the production base – said the CEO of Haitian International.
