Beginning with June 2021, in a record period of nine months, Transfera realized the construction of its first logistics center (TLC1), as part of a wider project of creating the Transfera Logistics Park (TLP) in the industrial zone in Novi Banovci, close to Belgrade.

The area of the first logistics center is 30,000 m2, of which 3,000 m2 of office space for administration, whereas the rest is storage space and accompanying rooms for rest and recreation, such as restaurants, cafes, a cantina for the employees and trim tracks.

The facility is equipped with the most sophisticated technology for managing storage operations, Warehouse Management System (WMS), with the implementation of the highest FM global standards, and the use of renewable energy sources has been set as one of the priorities.

An interesting fact is that nearly all the equipment and materials built into the facility were made by the company’s clients, which shows a great dedication and readiness for mutual cooperation with those to which the company provides its services.

The total area of the terminal is 53,000 m2, which also features TLC 1, will be fully controlled through the implementation of the software solutions Yard Management System (YMS) and Document Management System (DMS).

Despite the unfavorable circumstances such as the coronavirus pandemic and the crisis situation in the market of building materials, with maximum effort, we managed to complete the project in a very short amount of time. With this project, we realized our long set goal of starting a new chapter in the company’s operations, whereby we will raise the quality of providing all logistics services to our current and new clients to the highest level – said Vladimir Radovic, the project manager of TLC1 of the company Transfera.

The company Transfera continues its big growth, as shown by an income of close to EUR 70 million in 2021 and the current number of 330 employed workers.
