Construction of Road Through Radan Mountain Which Connects Tourism Highlights Begins – Opening of Hotel Zubor in Kursumlijska Banja in September
The beginning of the works on the road across the Radan Mountain, as well as the works on the reconstruction of the Zubor spa complex in Kursumlijska Banja was also visited, together with the prime minister, the minister of trade, tourism and telecommunications of Serbia, Tatjana Matic, as announced on the website of the ministry.
– The area of south Serbia is an area of extraordinary variety of landscapes, beauty and attractiveness and it is precisely the construction of the road across the Radan Mountain that will enable a full blossoming of the tourism potential. Through the projects of development of south Serbia areas, a whole new profile of a health, cultural and tourism destination will be built for local and foreign tourists – said Minister Matic.
She said that the reconstruction and the further development of the offer of Kursumlijska Banja will enable a blossoming of the whole Kursumlija in terms of tourism and position this destination as a priority spa oasis, but also contribute to the economic growth of the entire south Serbia.
– As a city with three spas, Kursumlija will become one of the central tourism destinations in our country, in which 200 new jobs will be created in the next several months – Brnabic added, as announced on the website of the government.
She expressed gratitude on that occasion to the private partner Planinka ad, which bought a hotel in this place and started its full reconstruction, as it had been dilapidated and without any perspective.
The prime minister announced that, in September, when the hotel in Kursumlijska Banja opened, another 120 people would be employed there.
