Water-Themed Week to Close Off Dubai World Expo

Representatives of around 60 companies and organization from the fields of water management, water ecosystems and drinking and waste water treatment, designers, contractors and investors in hydro facilities and pipelines, as well as water transport companies, are taking part in the final, ninth thematic week “Water” from March 20 to 27, which marks the closing of the business program of Serbia’s six-month presentation at Expo 2020 Dubai.

Marko Selakovic, the director of the representation of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia in Dubai and the director of the business program of the world expo, presented the business agenda of the thematic week “Water”. The business program is shaped through investment conferences, B2B meetings, presentations, expert gatherings and forums.

Representatives of companies from Serbia will also have an opportunity to take part in an investment conference about investments in RES projects and investment possibilities when it comes to sustainable projects, according to the website of the CCIS.

The fifth investment conference is held within the Forum for the Promotion of Sustainable Investments and will provide space for a discussion about the challenges in achieving the goals of sustainable development and reduction of poverty, protection of the planet and securing of prosperity. The forum is an ideal opportunity to get informed about the importance of sustainable investments and the harmonization of investments with the principles of economic, social and environmental sustainability, as well as to exchange ideas, experiences and expertise between the private and public sectors, but also decision-makers in Serbia, Asian and European countries, it is added.

Representatives of the companies at the world expo will also take part in a large number of expert gatherings about water treatment, innovations in water management and many other topics, as well as forums and B2B meetings with business people from Africa, India, South Korea, Great Britain, United States of America, Australia, Finland, Cuba, Germany, Morocco, Israel, Jordan, Switzerland, Netherlands, Uganda, New Zealand, Estonia and Croatia.
