– Renewable energy sources are the future, especially when it comes to large hydro power plants, wind and solar power plants – Mihajlovic said and noted that reversible hydro power plants were part of the country’s vision of energy development, especially the construction of “Djerdap 3” and “Bistrica”.

The deputy prime minister also said that the energy infrastructure was the field in which there will be the most investments in the future period, and noted that the projects in the sector of energy and mining were worth over EUR 28 billion, of which the majority pertains to RES, as announced on the website of the Government of Serbia.
