Rio Tinto: We are Worried Due to Recent Statements Made by Government Representatives, Fact-Based Discussions and Dialog Needed

Rio Tinto announces that it is worried over the recent statements made by representatives of the Government of Serbia about the potential withdrawal of the spatial plan for the Jadar project.

– We are dedicated to the development of the project in line with all the Serbian and international regulations and we take into consideration the concerns over the environment that the public has expressed. We believe that fact-based discussions and dialog should be the basis of every decision of the Government of Serbia on the development of the project – the press release says.
