Additional Import of Electricity Needed
Due to the major malfunction on the stacker, the preparation of a new stacking site is in progress, as is the assembly of a new transporter and a new stacker, it was said at a session of the Work Group for monitoring the security of the supply of energy and energy sources, where the latest data on the situation in the electrical energy system in Serbia were presented.
At the session, it was said that “the state will secure sufficient quantities of energy and energy sources for households and the economy in the upcoming period, and the additional importing of electrical energy and natural gas ensures energy security”.
According to EDS, there are no major problems with the supply of electricity to consumers in Serbia and the planned works are continuing, whereas the transfer system is also functioning without problems.
At the session, there was also talk about the situation in the gas sector in Serbia, and the conclusion is that the supply of the local market is stable, whereas the delivery of heating energy is carried out without major problems.
