We Reveal the Design of BG Subway Stations

The preliminary design by the architectural Studio OBE from Belgrade was pronounced the best at the contest for the design of the subway stations for the first phase of Line 1 of the Belgrade Subway, according to the decision on the results of the design contests. The eKapija portal exclusively presents the winning designs.

The team of authors from Studio OBE consists of Ksenija Pantovic, Jasna Kavran, Masa Bogunovic, Nevena Nikolic and visualization assistant Luka Vujovic. They won the prize of RSD 2.5 million.

The second prize of net RSD 1.5 million was awarded to the team consisting of Stefan Danilovic, Nenad Stijovic, Jelena Zlatanovic, Mila Lukovic and associates Dragana Zoric, Boris Martic, Nina Krcum, Katarina Ognjenovic and Luka Grgic.

The team made of Sara Miladinovic, Dusan Muncan, Andjela Radovanovic, Ilija Demenesku and Lidija Grozdanic won third prize of RSD 500,000 for their design.

The jury reached the decision at a session in late December, and the visual designs are only available now that the complaint deadline period has expired.

The contest encompassed the first phase of the first line of the future Belgrade Subway, which entails 16 stations.

The jury was presided over by the head urban planner of Belgrade, Marko Stojcic, and other members were the director the PUE Beogradski metro i voz, Stanko Kantar, and representatives of the Union of Architects of Serbia, Vladimir Lojanica, Miodrag Mirkovic and Snezana Vesnic. The reporters were Marija Kosovic, an employee of the Urban Planning Institute of Belgrade, and Predrag Tomic of the PUE Beogradski metro i voz.
