Three Licenses for Crypto Exchange Offices Being Processed – Growth of Belgrade Stock Exchange Expected

At the moment, three licenses for crypto exchange offices are being processed, and four issuers of tokens have paid the request for the issuing of licenses, the minister of finance of Serbia, Sinisa Mali, said at the parliament, answering MPs’ questions.

– In the next few years, I expect us to have the first issued licenses. This is very important for us – Mali said and reminded that Serbia was one of the first countries to legally regulate the field.

As he says, the market is developing slowly, but surely.

– We are working intensively on a strategy of growth and development of the Belgrade Stock Exchange. I believe that the Belgrade Stock Exchange is the right instrument for the support of our financial markets and, at this moment, we are working on developing a platform for trading digital tokens, which will be implemented as soon as next year – Mali said.

He pointed out that everything happening in the world would happen in that sense in Serbia too and that he expected the Belgrade Stock Exchange to grow.
