Italian Development Bank Wants to Support Green Energy Projects in Serbia
– I also believe that there’s room for us to cooperate on upgrading the power transfer and distribution network and in transport – Franciosi said following his meeting with Minister of Mining and Energy of Serbia Zorana Mihajlovic.
Mihajlovic estimated that there was a lot of room for cooperation, considering the need to increase the number of private sector investments and noted that the projects encompassed by the new investment plan were worth over EUR 17 billion.
Italian Ambassador to Serbia Carlo Lo Cascio, who attended the meeting, said that, considering the economic growth of Serbia and the favorable investment environment, there was an interest of Italian companies for additional investments, as reported on the website of the Government of Serbia.
