Embraer Offering Aircraft to Air Serbia
– Embraer has a very good relation with the management team of Air Serbia and we are regularly exchanging opinions on the issues of the industry and the topics of business development. Air Serbia has made an impressive progress since its launching, and we have also noticed their efforts during the pandemic and outside it. We believe that our E2, as well as the future turboprop of the next generation, would be just what Air Serbia needs – Embraer’s Vice President for Sales and Marketing, Cesar Pereira, said for the EX-YU Aviation News portal.
E-Jet E2 are jet planes that come in three varieties and which are successors to the original E-Jet. This includes E175-E2, with a capacity of 80 to 88 passengers, depending on the cabin layout, E190-E2, with a capacity of 96 to 104 passengers, and E195-E2, with a capacity of 120 to 132 passengers.
Embraer has also unveiled a new turboprop concept, which showcases a different way of thinking when it comes to the design of this type of an aircraft. The proposition is for the aircraft with 70-90 seats to have engines installed in its tail. It is expected to start being used between 2027 and 2030.
