Auction of Frequency Range for 5G Network from 2022 – Serbia Expects First Results in Agriculture and Automotive Industry
At the opening of the two-day conference Bizit, Matic said that the first results of the switch to 5G were expected primarily in agriculture and the automotive industry.
The minister said that digital transformation in the year of the pandemic had been the catalyst of changes in all aspects of social activities and that it had influenced the operations of companies and their relation toward the clients.
She pointed out that a huge increase in digital business operations and electronic trade had been recorded during the pandemic and estimated that there was still plenty of room for the development of that kind of trade in Serbia.
According to her, a lot has been done to amend the laws in order to enable the growth and development of electronic commerce in the competition for clients, which is just beginning in Serbia.
