Direct Flight from Belgrade to Ankara to be Established

At the Embassy of Serbia in Ankara, an exhibition of the tourism highlights of Belgrade and Serbia will open today, and, on that occasion, Serbia will be promoted as a country for tourists from central Turkey and its capital. At the event, the establishment of a direct flight between Belgrade and Ankara will be announced.

– At the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Ankara, negotiations about the establishment of a direct flight on the Belgrade-Ankara route, which is already certain, are in progress. The flight will have a direct impact on an even further increase of the number of visits of Turkish tourists to Belgrade – said Miodrag Popovic, the director of the Tourism Organization of Belgrade (TOB).

As he added, as reported on the TOB website, Turkish tourists have been at the top of the list of the most numerous tourists in Belgrade for years now.

– Providing the residents of the central region of Turkey with the possibility to travel for us means the opening of a new tourist market with numerous positive effects.

The TOB organized the first presentation of Belgrade in Ankara in 2019, when a great interest in our tourist offer was shown.
