Partner 2021 International Arms and Military Equipment Fair Begins
The importance of this biggest regional event in the domain of defense equipment and technologies is reflected in the presentation, to the local and global audiences, of Serbia’s achievements in the fields of research, development and production of arms and military equipment, it is said on the website of the Belgrade Fairgrounds.
Companies which belong to the group of the Defense Industry of Serbia, Jugoimport-SDPR, as well as numerous producers from Serbia and the world, are exhibiting at the fair.
In halls 1 and 4, as well as in the outdoor space of the Belgrade Fairground, over 70 arms and pieces of military equipment from the Military-Technical Institute (MTI), artillery-missile systems, air defense systems, modernized combat and new armored vehicles, aircraft, unmanned air and land platforms, anti-tank and fire management systems, all-terrain vehicles and various types of guided and unguided missiles.
As a special surprise, numerous premieres are announced, as well as new types of “weapons of the future”.
The fair’s co-organizer, the domestic company Jugoimport-SDPR, will present around 40 systems from their own development program within the three business missions it has, as the carrier of the development and production of complex combat systems and ammunition, as the integrator of the Serbian defense industry in the world market, and as the company which equips the Serbian Armed Forces and the Ministry of Internal Affairs from local production and from imports.
Products developed and produced by Jugoimport’s subsidiaries will also be showcased at the Partner fair, namely, Borbeni Slozeni Sistemi from Velika Plana, with a facility in Kursumlija, the Belom factory in Uzici, which produces small ammunition, Utva from Pancevo, as well as Kovacki Centar and the new Kapislana facility from Valjevo. In addition to the technical members of the group, the Jugoimport-SDPR group of subsidiaries also features Srpska Banka, as the company’s financial and strategic partner.
For the first three days, the event will be closed to the wide audience and only on the fourth day, Thursday, October 14, will it open to visitors.
