Opening of Consulate of Turkey in Nis Soon – Regular Air Line to Istanbul Announced as Well

A consulate of Turkey will soon open in Nis, and an air line from Nis to Istanbul will also be introduced, it was said in Nis during a conversation between the mayor, Dragana Sotirovski, and the ambassador of Turkey to Serbia, Hami Aksoy.

– The consular representation would be at the service of Turkish nationals who are traveling through Serbia and would work on developing the economic cooperation and the arrival of new investors to Nis and this part of Serbia – Sotirovski said, according to the city’s website.

Having noted that, in that part of Serbia, Turkish investors have considerable investments, the ambassador of Turkey said that it was not enough and that he would make an effort to have the investments by Turkish companies increase. He also expressed the readiness of his country to work on the renewal of the monument heritage from the period of the Ottoman Empire.
