Minimum wage to be increased by 9.4% as of January

The Government of Serbia has reached a decision that the minimum labor cost for the period January-December 2022 will be 201.22 dinars per working hour (in net amount), which increases the minimum wage by 9.4%.

- Determining the minimum labor cost is based on the latest available macroeconomic data and projections for the upcoming period - the government said in a statement.


The 9.4% increase, to RSD 35,012, was announced by Prime Minister Ana Brnabic after the session of the Social-Economic Council, at which no agreement has been reached with the unions.
