Public Invitation for Participation in Program of Support to Companies for Entering Supply Chains of Multinational Companies Opens

The Development Agency of Serbia (DAS) has opened the Public Invitation for taking part in the Program of Support to Companies for Entering Supply Chains of Multinational Companies in 2021.

According to the website of the DAS, the program is multiannual and directed at the strengthening of the business capacities of local companies, so that they could become suppliers of large multinational companies or expand the existing cooperation with them.

The invitation is intended for producers in the sectors of the automotive industry, devices and components for the car industry (plastic, rubber, machines and equipment), metal processing, as well as producers of machinery and equipment for other purposes, rubber and plastic sector, producers of home devices and home device components, as well as the sector of electrical and electronic systems and elements of electrical and electronic systems.

Eligible companies are those that are registered in Serbia, which meet or can meet the conditions for being included in the supply chains of multinational companies, as well as those companies which are already on the list of suppliers of multinational companies and are active suppliers, it is added. The total budget of the program is RSD 230,000,000.

It is clarified that non-repayable funds for the purchase and installation of industrial robots or equipment for automation, digitization or optimization of production processes have also been secured. Also, the funds can be allocated for the adaptation of production halls, purchase and installation of autonomous robots with a learning ability and co-bots, the preparation and implementation of software solutions to the end of optimization of the existing production processes, the equipment for interphase quality control and finished product control, as well as for consulting support for the optimization of production processes, for the implementation or upgrade of corporate management and for the certification of the systems of quality in line with the requests of specific industrial standards.

The invitation is open until October 26, 2021.

Since the launching of this program in 2019, this is the fourth public invitation. So far, through three invitations, a total of 39 beneficiaries have been selected, namely, local companies for whom measures of intervention have been approved, whereby it was decided to allocate support means to them, the DAS reminds.
