The director and owner of the Egyptian consortium Misr Italia, Hany El Assal, and the director of Merkur, Dejan Stanojevic, have signed the Memorandum of Understanding creating the pre-conditions for the beginning of the cooperation on the transfer of Merkur’s know-how to the rehabilitation and wellness center Mousa Coast, which is to be built on the Red Sea, as announced by the Special Hospital Merkur.

– The signing of this document creates the conditions for a close and fruitful cooperation of Serbia and Egypt in the field of spa tourism – stated Amr Ajlowaily, the ambassador of Egypt to Serbia.

The next step in the cooperation is for a delegation of Merkur to visit complexes Mousa Coast and Sharm El-Sheikh in late October 2021 in order to see first-hand the potentials and the available capacities to the end of the future preparation of the plan and the organization of the knowledge transfer.

Mousa Coast is a project on the Red Sea that dates back to 2000. It is located in Ras Sudr, 25 km from the tunnel beneath the Suez Canal and around 130 km from Cairo. The completion of a hotel with 1,400 beds and a spa center is planned for 2022.

Misr Italia Holding was founded in 1981, owned by Hany El Assal. It consists of 12 subsidiaries.
