Shipyard to be Moved from the Danube in Novi Sad – Modern Marina with Residential-Office Complex to be Built in its Place
– It cannot be entered. It is closed now, just like all shipyards. The residential-office complex will be open to all, because it is the only way for it to thrive, especially in the business part – Miladinovic said.
The number of floors is not yet known. There will be an obligation of the preparation of the urban project for the shipyard, that is, the marina. Everything leading toward the water will be a public space.
– The marina is featured in a study prepared back in 1982. I’ve heard statements by some professors that it’s better for it to be built downstream. I must say that there’s no room downstream, because there’s Kamenicki Park on the right coast, a protected area, Ribnjak, which is a landslide, and the Petrovaradin Fortress. Past the Zezelj Bridge is a water spring. On the left is Strand, the wharf, the canal and then another water spring. The only place where an international marina can be built is Sremski Karlovci, and that’s outside Novi Sad – Miladinovic emphasized.
