In order to improve communication and exchange of documents with customers, after a yearlong preparation, in May the company Nelt began implementing the project of "digitalization" in delivery. During the first phase, the new model of fast and simple data exchange with customers was applied only to Nelt's regional center in Nis. In June, implementation will continue throughout Serbia, with the intention of expanding to the Western Balkans region.

The digital delivery project is a part of a broader company strategy for digitizing business processes. This solution speeds up the supply chain, and thus significantly improves the service that Nelt provides to its customers and clients.

- The launch of digital delivery comes at the right time and is harmonized with the legal regulations in the field of electronic document exchange, which will come into force in 2022. By implementing the digital delivery project, we have paved the way for further development of new functionalities in this segment, as well as a gradual transition to a digital business model - said Nenad Rakocevic, Nelt Group's operational excellence manager.
The digitalization of delivery project has automated logistics processes, with the gradual withdrawal of paper documents from use. Nelt's principals, clients and customers are now able to track data faster, more transparently and more accurately via the "Track And Trace" portal, easily accessed from the global website www.nelt.com.

Digital delivery, which follows global trends in the field of logistics services, is characterized by simple processes of creating and moving documentation, as well as digital archiving in case of necessary double-checks.
