The Romanian National Center for Supervision and Control of Infectious Diseases (CNSU) has updated the list of countries or areas with a high epidemiological risk from Covid-19, based on which the quarantine measure is imposed, and Serbia is now in the most favorable, green zone, on the list.

Germany has removed Serbia and other countries of the Western Balkans from the “red list” of the countries with a travel risk due to the coronavirus.

In addition to Serbia, of the countries of the Western Balkans, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and North Macedonia are no longer treated as high-risk countries.

The removal from the list of high-risk countries facilitates travel to Germany, that is, removes all the epidemiological “obstacles”.

The new rules apply from Sunday, the Robert Koch Institute announced in its press release.

The removal of Serbia and other Western Balkans countries by the RKI will also influence other EU states, namely, Austria, which has decided to set its entry rules based on the German institute’s list.
