Russian store chair H5 plants to expand its offer of products from Serbia in its retail stores, because the consumers are recognizing the quality of Serbian products, Veronika Yaroslavtseva, the director of purchase at H5 in charge of the Northwestern Region, announced in Saint Petersburg after a meeting with representatives of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia.

– Consumers in Russia appreciate the flavors and the technology of the production, the sale of products from Serbia is growing and we want to include new articles in our stores, such as wines, confectionery, preserves… – Yaroslavtseva pointed out. She reminds that fresh fruit, vegetables and cheeses sell the most at the moment.

– The import of products from Serbia of this largest Russian retail store chain jumped 50% in the first four months of 2021 compared to the same period last year and was worth USD 20 million, and it is expected to reach USD 60 million by the end of the year – said Dejan Delic, the director of the CCIS office in Moscow.

H5 has over 17,000 retail stores in three formats, with over 300,000 employees, and has a 12% share in the Russian market.
