Register of Administrative Procedures at eGovernment Portal Launched – Forms and Information in One Place
This means that the request forms and the information about the necessary documentation that is submitted along with the request, account number and the fee or compensation that needs to be paid, as well as all other information for a successful submission of requests, are now available at the portal to all business people.
– The portal means that there are no longer queues at the counters to get information or take a request form, it will be known what the fee and the compensation is and which account it needs to be paid to – the director of the Secretariat for Public Policies, Bojana Tosic, said at the press conference.
She explained that the register, now publicly available, was a single base of all the administrative procedures carried out by the public administration.
She said that, with the establishment of the register, which currently features the services of over 80 different organs, time was saved for both the economy and the citizens, while also increasing the efficiency of the public administration and creating a secure and predictable business environment.
– By 2022, we plan to have all the procedures that pertain to the citizens in the register, and by the end of 2023, also the native procedures of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and the local self-government units – Tosic says.
She said that, at that moment, the register only features the procedures pertaining to the economy, i.e. business entities, that there were 2,600 procedures at that moment and that initially only 1,600 would be available, with the number gradually increased every day.
She said that the plan was for all the procedures and services to be available on the portal in the next 60 days and that an English version of the portal would be available from April 2022.
She specified that the portal enabled all the information about the administrative procedures to be found in a single place, so that interested business people and citizens could get information about everything they need to get a permit, settle an obligation or realize a right in a simple and easy fashion.
The register is run by the Secretariat for Public Policies, with technical and professional support of the Office for IT and eGovernment.
The director of the Office for IT and eGovernment, Mihailo Jovanovic, said that the establishment of the register of the administrative procedures was very important for the provision of services to legal entities at that moment, that it was important to list all the services and procedures that the state administration provides to legal entities, and that the register would also help systematize the digitization of the services for legal entities.
– Of the 1,600 procedures, at the moment, 27 have been digitized. These are the services of the Tobacco Administration and the Plant Protection Administration, and this systemic and systematic approach is expected to lead to the digitization of a large number of services from this register – Jovanovic said.
He said that the aim was for the digitization of the services of the ministries of internal affairs, environmental protection and construction, transport and infrastructure and the Plant Protection Administration to start in the next weeks and months.
The assistant director of the Secretariat for Public Policies, Ninoslav Kekic, specified that the portal was designed to be simple to search and to enable the required procedure to be located easily.
– All the information is prepared to be simple, easily comprehensible and user-friendly, so that the user would know what they need in order to get a permit – Kekic said and added that the user could also get informed about the period within which the procedure per request can be carried out.
