Monthly Inflation in Serbia in April 1.1%, Year-on-Year 2.8%
Consumer prices in April 2021 increased by 2.8% in relation to April 2020. In April 2021 in relation to December 2020, consumer prices increased by 2.6%, on average.
Observed by main groups according to the destination of consumption in April 2021 in relation to the previous month, increase of prices was noted in the groups Food and non-alcoholic beverages (2.6%), Clothing and footwear (1.7%), Transport (1.0%) and Recreation and culture (0.2%).
Also, increase of prices was noted in the groups Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, Alcoholic beverages and tobacco, Health, Furnishings, household equipment and routine maintenance of the house and Restaurants and hotels (each by 0.1%).
