Serbian Railways Infrastructure Gets Involved in Connecting Europe Express Project
The plan is for the Connecting Europe Express project to be realized during September and October 2021, and it entails a special train connecting around 25 European countries in total, including Serbia, on whose railways it will travel.
The passing of this special train through European countries will be accompanied with a range of large rail-related events, and during the nearly 40 stops it is planned to make in cities throughout the continent, the rail sector, the civil society, local and regional communities and the widest public will gather in order to emphasize all the advantages of this form of transport.
The route of the special train, with all the accompanying events, will soon be announced by the organizers of this project, the European Commission and the Community of European Railway and Infrastructure Companies.
