Geology Institute of Serbia Enables Use of Geological Research Data from Former Yugoslav Area
– The fund itself contains precious results of geological research from the former Yugoslav area in the past 50 years. The geological documentation fund has over 6,000 documents (reports, studies) and around 21,000 general and special-purpose maps, processed and arranged data as per the location and the type of research – the press release says.
A fee of 5% of the value of the research is charged for the use of geological documentation. The right to the service, as said, belongs to all the legal and natural persons that have paid the fee for the use of the data and the documentation of basic geological research and that have signed an agreement with the Geology Institute of Serbia about the conditions and the manner of the use of the documentation.
It is added that, to use this service, a request for the use of geological documentation needs to be filed to the competent organ.
