The works on the construction of the highway on the bypass route around Belgrade, between the bridge on the Sava near Ostruznica to Orlovaca and Petlovaca interchanges, have been completed, and this section of 7.7 kilometers is to open to traffic tomorrow.

The so-called sector 4 of the bypass route around Belgrade encompassed the works on the construction of the left lane of the highway from the bridge on the Sava near Ostruznica to the Orlovaca interchange, 7.7 kilometers long, where the missing left lane of the highway, two tunnels, Lipak and Zeleznik, as well as three bridges, nos. 9, 10 and 11, were built, and the remaining works on the Orlovaca interchange were done, the PE Roads of Serbia told Tanjug.

The entire section from the bridge on the Sava near Ostruznica to Bubanj Potok is 20.4 kilometers long, with access routes.

The project is worth EUR 227 million, and the works are financed 85% from the loan from the Chinese Exim Bank and 15% from the Serbian budget.

The contractor is the Power Construction Corporation of China, and the subcontractors are the Azerbaijani AzVirt and domestic companies.
