Management Building of Former Slovenian Airline Carrier Adria Airways Offered for EUR 4.1 Million
The initial price has been set at EUR 4.1 million without the VAT, and bids may be submitted by June 30, the STA agency reports.
The former seat of Adria and the surrounding parcels are the most valuable part of the bankruptcy estate, whose value has been estimated at EUR 6.2 million.
Built in 2009, the four-story building of Adria in Ljubljana has nearly 4,400 square meters. The facility, in addition to the office space, includes studying rooms and a warehouse. It is surrounded by land and a fenced-off parking lot.
The bidders need to pay a deposit of EUR 205,000 by the end of June or submit a banking guarantee in the same amount that is valid until the end of the year.
If several bidders offer the same price, the one with the shortest payment period, which cannot be longer than three months within the signing of the agreement, and which will have to be approved by the court, will be selected.
The bidders will be allowed to view the premises, as per a previously submitted request. If this is not possible due to the epidemic, a new bid submission deadline will be set.
The bidders will be notified about the selection process within 15 days, according to the ad published on the website of the Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Public Legal Records and Related Services (AJPES).
According to the Finance daily, a potential purchaser is a resident of the United Arab Emirates, Muneef Tarmoom, who holds several high positions in numerous financial funds and corporations. He is a co-founder of the Abu Dhabi Equity Partners (ADEP), STA adds.
