Memorandum of Understanding between the SCC and the Ukrainian Council of Exporters to strengthen trade cooperation

A memorandum of understanding between the The Exporters and Investors Council of Ukraine and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (SCC) was signed yesterday (April 14, 2021), the Embassy of Ukraine in Serbia announced.

The Ukrainian Council is part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of that country, and the document was signed by the Ambassador of Ukraine Oleksandr Alexandrovich and the Director of the Sector for Strategic Analysis, Services and Internationalization of the SCC, Mihailo Vesovic.

The goal of the Memorandum is to intensify business contacts between Ukraine and Serbia, exchange information in the field of trade and economy, hold joint events and strengthen bilateral trade cooperation, the statement said.


During the meeting, the parties stressed the need to sign a free trade agreement as soon as possible, and discussed key areas of cooperation between Serbian and Ukrainian companies, as well as its further development.
