Innovative company from Srbobran conquers the European market - Kamar Plus produces stretch packaging foil without a cardboard core
- The most interesting market for us is the European Union, where companies have to pay an environmental tax for all waste that leaves the production hall, and there is no waste with our foil, the utilization is 100% - the young innovator proudly points out.
Another variable influences the decision of a company to adopt the new product, and that is the price of transport. Old rolls with sleeves are much heavier, and as trucks are limited by load capacity, customers were limited by the amount that can fit in the cargo space, while in the case of coreless foil the vehicle can carry much more foil.
- For 6,000 rolls that are produced monthly, an annual saving of eight tons of cardboard has been achieved. On an annual level, those are entire waste trucks. We are currently in the process of product protection, obtaining a patent for the territory of Serbia - says Mario.
Foil from Srbobran can be found at many large and well-known companies, and some of them are: Aretol, Keramika Kanjiža, Simeks, Vitorog, Vino Župa, Capriolo, Vobihaus, Beorol, Rolna, Medela, Black Horse and around 80 smaller companies. Negotiations are currently underway with large retail chains that consume significant amounts of foil, in addition to Hungary, it is also exported to Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina (through intermediaries Beorol and Wobyhaus), and foil rewinding service is being done for a Polish company.
