Belgrade Fourth Most Expensive City in Europe by Real Estate Prices
The ratio of real estate prices and an average income in Belgrade amounts to a high 19.77, according to the calculations of Numbeo, founded by Mladen Adamovic, former Google software engineer from Serbia, according to the Croatian Index portal.
Belgrade is behind Moscow (21.12), which placed first, Paris (20.97), Split (19.77), and ahead of Vladivostok (18.63), Gdansk (18.31), Prague (17.97) and Milan (17.85).
Of the Serbian cities, Novi Sad also features on the list, having placed 23rd with a ratio of 14.67, ahead of Florence (14.37) and Stockholm (14.22).
Of the cities in the region, Banjaluka has placed fairly high (13.75) and takes the 30th spot, ahead of Barcelona and Porto, whereas Zagreb is 33rd, with a ratio of 13.47.
It’s interesting that London, which has a reputation of a city with unbearably high real estate prices, is only 20th, with a ratio of 15.65.
