Gazprom Energoholding (GEH) is considering the construction of another two gas thermal power plants in Serbia in order to meet the domestic needs for electrical energy, stated the CEO of GEH, Denis Fyodorov, in an interview for the company’s internal magazine.

– Our company is considering the possibility of the construction of another two facilities for the supply of heating and electrical energy to the populace and industrial consumers – Fyodorov said, TASS reports.

The plan is for the gas thermal power plant, which GEH is currently building in Pancevo together with Gazpromneft for the purpose of supplying electricity to the Pancevo Refinery and the sale of electricity in an open market, to be put into operation in 2021, he added.
