Patrol Police to Go Back on the Streets – Job Contest for 170 New Ones Opens in Belgrade

At the moment, Belgrade has 57 patrol police members, and this month, there will be a job contest for another 170 ones, announced Serbian Internal Affairs Minister Aleksandar Vulin.

– When we finish all the procedures, we will have covered the territory of Belgrade entirely. The City of Belgrade will be the first one to have a full patrol police infrastructure – Vulin said.

The head of the Police Department for the City of Belgrade, Veselin Milic, said that Belgrade (the whole municipality) featured 17 police stations. As for the overview of the level of security in the city, he said that, in 2020, there had been 19,250 criminal acts in the territory of Belgrade, a drop compared to 2019.
