New Sale of Azotara Pancevo – Initial Price Halved Compared to First Auction

The Bankruptcy Supervision Agency has advertised a new sale of Azotara Pancevo through public bidding, at the initial price of around RSD 2.33 billion.

Azotara is being sold as a legal entity, and the most important property consists of the complex of the factory of artificial fertilizers and nitrogen compounds in Pancevo, which consists of production, storage, administrative, infrastructural and auxiliary buildings, facilities and equipment.

The lot also includes movable property, that is, equipment, mechanization, receivables and material stock.

The public bidding will be held on March 17, 2021.

This is the second attempt at a sale of HIP Azotara. The first one took place in late December 2020, when the initial price was double what it is now – RSD 5.8 billion.

The sale was declared unsuccessful because no deposit had been paid a no banking guarantee for taking part in the public bidding had been filed, the Bankruptcy Supervision Agency announced recently.

Azotara has been in bankruptcy since 2018.
