Signing of Memorandum on Cooperation in Veterinary Medicine Between Serbia and Kazakhstan Planned

The cooperation between Serbia and Kazakhstan in the field of agricultural-food production was discussed by the state secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of Serbia, Senad Mahmutovic, and the associate and deputy of the ambassador of Kazakhstan to Serbia, Assen Kashkenov.

As a central Asian country, Kazakhstan is a member of the Eurasian Economic Union, and its market of over 19 million citizens and the needs of this market are such that the trade can increase substantially, the ministry says on its website.

– The first step toward the realization of these intentions will be the signing of a memorandum on cooperation in the field of veterinary medicine on the level of the ministries, whereby the conditions for the trade of products of animal origin will be met – they say.


At the meeting, it was concluded that, in the future, all the possibilities provided by the Free Trade Agreement with the Eurasian Economic Union should be used.
