Japan Tobacco International (JTI) will invest a total of EUR 3 million in moving into one of the most modern office spaces in New Belgrade – Navigator Business Center 2, the company announced. Moving into the new, modern offices, which feature technical, ergonomic and construction solutions of the highest quality and world standards is part of a long-term strategy of investing in the employees.

The best indicator of the company’s relation to its employees is the fact that, for the sixth year in a row, JTI is the winner of the Top Employer award, handed out by the prestigious Dutch institute Top Employers with the aim of highlighting the leading employers in the world – companies which place the interests of their employees first, providing them with the best working conditions possible.

– Under normal circumstances, our team spends a good part of the day at the office, so it’s very important for us to provide them with the best working conditions, adapted to our needs. I hope that this new, modern and flexible business space will make our work and everyday tasks easier and more pleasant – said Viktor Veklitch, the General Manager of JTI Adriatica.

The modern and comfortable common spaces, equipped with the latest technological solutions, will provide ideal conditions for the exchange of ideas, team work and relaxing breaks spent with the colleagues. On the other hand, when the employees need to focus and make a phone call, there are separate working stations, individual phone booths or small conference halls. All this is provided by a carefully designed balance between individual and common space.

During the pandemic, the priority of JTI is safety, so all employees which can work from home are allowed to do so, whereas the production, on-site operations and office work are organized in line with the measures and recommendations of the competent institutions, with regular monitoring of the employees’ health.

The company constantly strives to improve the working conditions and invest in the professional growth and development of its employees by offering them competitive salaries, bonuses, additional education, private health insurance and other benefits.
