Solar Power Plant to be Built in Nis on 61.5 Hectares
This pertains to the partial changes designed by the Institute for Urban Planning of Nis, which entail, among other things, an area in the northeastern part of the Nis municipality of Pantelej of 61.5 hectares, where the construction of a solar power plant is being planned.
The preliminary plan, according to the documentation, is for the solar power plant to cover a large number of parcels in the cadaster municipality of Vrelo.
The amendments to the spatial plan envisage a reduction of the agricultural and the forest land from around 352 km2 and 141 km2 to 184 km2 and 16 km2 and a simultaneous increase of the construction land area from 80 km2 to 273 km2.
As the responsible designer, Dejan Stojanovic, said for eKapija, the amendments are being adopted in a summary procedure, considering that the changes are small.
– The City Assembly has already adopted the decision in line with which we have amended the spatial plan for this area. We have got the rough coverage in the cadaster municipality of Vrelo, and after the adoption of the amendments to the spatial plan, a detailed regulation plan is to be prepared for the area, which will feature more details – Stojanovic told us.
The amendments to the spatial plan are up for public review until February 3.
