CCIS: Incentives for Foreign and Local Cinematographers to Bring Most Developed Productions to Serbia
– The incentives bring foreign productions and support local creators. The adopted Decree on incentives to investors to produce audiovisual works in Serbia is a continuation of the practice from the previous seasons, which has produced substantial results. More works are being filmed in Serbia than ever and there are no employees out of work in this field. Unlike the time before the incentives, when the state did not set aside enough for cinematography, we are now shoulder to shoulder with the countries in the region – said Igor Turcinovic, a film producer and a member of the Cinematography Group within the Association for the Creative Industry at the CCIS.
