The ban on intercity traffic on weekends is to be abolished in Montenegro, and the entry into the state will be allowed without the obligation of testing for coronavirus, as announced at the press conference of the Montenegrin Ministry of Health and the Public Health Institute.

According to Montenegrin Health Minister Jelena Borovinic Bojovic, the epidemiology situation is more favorable compared to the period before the holidays, which is why some measures have been loosened.

She said that organizing New Year’s celebrations outdoors was still banned and clarified that it pertained to the Orthodox New Year 2021, which is celebrated on January 13.

– In bars and restaurants, which will continue working between 7 am and 8 pm, live music or any kind of live stage program is not allowed – said Borovinic Bojovic, as announced on the Twitter account of the Ministry of Health.
