Easily Replenish the Minerals the Organism Needs
– Among the minerals we lack the most, the main ones are zinc and magnesium. This isn’t surprising, because the human body produces neither zinc nor magnesium, which is why they need to be taken with food. On the other hand, the recommended daily zinc input for women is 8 mg, and for men 11 mg. When it comes to magnesium, it’s 300 mg for women and 350 mg for men – emphasizes professor Sergej Ostojic, a medical doctor and a physiologist for top athletes with decades of experience.
The recommended doses are truly not big, but even so, a large majority of people do not manage to take in enough zinc and magnesium every day. This brings us back to the start – this lack is primarily a consequence of the tempo the modern way of life dictates.
How does our body lose zinc and magnesium? Each day, we lose these minerals in different ways, and the lack can be a consequence of an insufficient intake of liquids and food rich in zinc and magnesium, burnout at work or intense sweating while exercising and that is why we need to replenish them if we want to be healthy!
What are zinc and magnesium actually good for? Among other things, zinc contributes to a regular metabolism, brain functioning and the optimal function of the immune system, whereas magnesium contributes to the reduction of the feeling of tiredness and a better balance of electrolytes in the organism, enables the optimal operations of the brain and the muscles, and it also helps build healthy bones and teeth.
How can we replenish the zinc and magnesium our organism needs through food? Good sources of zinc are meat and sea products, seeds, milk and dairy products, and nuts, pods, whole grains or fish can be a great source of magnesium.
– It is now much easier to replenish these precious minerals, because, since recently, our market offers a refreshing drink called Aquarius Water+, which can help you replenish the levels of zinc and magnesium in your organism. Even the World Health Organization suggests that various drinks, such as Aquarius Water+ with zinc and a natural lemon aroma, or the magnesium variety with a natural red orange aroma, could be a good source of the mineral for achieving health benefits in people – Dr Ostojic concludes.
It is important to know that one bottle of Aquarius Water+ is sufficient for as much as 30% of the daily need for zinc and magnesium, that it doesn’t contain artificial aromas and that it has only 14 kcal per 100 ml, making it a low-calory drink, suitable for those who take care of their diet.
The weather is getting colder, we are moving less, we are less active at home and at work, and we often take in less liquid as well. In order to prevent our immunity from dropping or prevent getting tired, we need to take care to intake minerals. The optimal intake of zinc and magnesium is an excellent illustration of the old adage – better safe than sorry!
