“Vetrozelena” up for Early Public Review
The plan, which was developed by the PE Urbanizam Pancevo and ordered by the City, specifies that the microlocation for the construction of the Vetrozelena wind farm covers an area of 49.48 km2.
The roughly defined territory of the future wind farm borders the Municipality of Alibunar on the northern side, whereas, on the western side, it is around 1,000 meters away from the border of the construction area of the Dolovo settlement.
The current purpose of the areas is agricultural and there are no protected nature sections.
According to the planning documentation, the construction of several functional units for the production of electrical energy from renewable sources is envisaged.
According to preliminary analyses, the plan is to build a maximum of 60 wind turbines of the total installed power of up to 300 MW, which will be connected to the power distribution system under the conditions of the PE Elektromreza Srbije. The maximum height of the wind generator poles, including the blade in the upper position, will be 250 meters.
The plan is up for early public review until January 1.
