He visited the work sites at the bypass route around Belgrade, at the Strazevica Tunnel. After meeting with representatives of the contractors, Powerchina and Azvirt, Momirovic said that the main contractors and the subcontractors promised that the works on the bypass route would be completed even before it was planned.
He pointed out that the works on the bypass route would be completed in the next year and a half to two years.
He reminds that, at the moment, a major part of the cargo traffic goes through Belgrade and points out that the purpose of the bypass route will be to unload the center of the Serbian capital, but that it will also have ecological significance, because it will help reduce the amount of exhaust gases in the city itself.
