QUNDIS GmbH Looking for Associates in Serbia and Montenegro – Energy Efficiency Through Monitoring Heat and Water Consumption
As part of the virtual study tour “Energy Efficiency in Serbia and Montenegro”, he talked about the EU directive according to which, beginning with 2020, all the devices that are being installed (allocators, calorimeters, water meters, gas meters, power meters) must be installed with the possibility of remote reading.
– From 2022, the devices will have to be read remotely once a month, and the data must be forwarded to the end-users. From 2027, all the devices will need to be able to be read remotely – he said.
Calculations per square meter could become a thing of the past, due to the new regulations, which aim to reduce the consumption of energy. That is why (ultrasound or turbine) allocators or calorimeters are being installed. The situation is similar when it comes to water meters.
Qundis can also offer modules for wire or radio communication, meant for devices installed without the possibility of remote reading, as well as pulse converters, which can read old devices remotely. There are also smoke detectors, which can be installed in apartments.
– Remote reading systems consist of concentrators, hubs powered by batteries or electricity, which collect data from the measuring devices. Through gateways, the data are sent to the QSNP cloud, and are then forwarded to the partner which is in charge of the billing – Babic said.
He noted that it was an open system, capable of being integrated into other energy management systems.
He pointed out that the company was interested in establishing cooperation in the market of Serbia and Montenegro.
Qundis is based in Erfurt and has existed for over 35 years, and now it operates within Noventic Group in over 30 countries. They realize an annual income of 90 to 100 million Europe.
So far, they have installed devices in over eight million apartments and houses, of which more than 1.5 million feature their remote reading technology – AMR technology.
The organizer of the virtual tour is the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce (AHK Serbia), supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and in partnership with the German company energiewaechter GmbH.
