VUCEVIC: Novi Sad Waterfront to be Tourist-Recreation Center

The mayor of Novi Sad, Milos Vucevic, said that the best expert teams were working on the Novi Sad Waterfront project and that the facilities there would not cover more than 10% of the total area.

In his interview for Blic, Vucevic said that teams of our best architects, water management and environmental experts worked on the project.

– Once the PE Urbanizam, in cooperation with the Jaroslav Cerni Institute, completes its part of the jobs, the plan will be presented to the public in detail – he said.

He said that the General Regulation Plan of the left coastal area of the Danube had not yet been completed and that the public review was yet to take place.

Vucevic emphasized that the construction of residential facilities and other features in that zone of Novi Sad would not exceed 10% of the total area.

– That will be exclusively a tourist-recreation center of Novi Sad, with a focus on the development of green areas – he said.
