Final Section of Kragujevac-Batocina Road to be Completed on Friday

The works on the construction of the final section of the Kragujevac-Batocina road, of 4.5 km through Batocina, are to be finished on Friday, when it will also open to traffic, as announced by the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure.

Once the works are finished, the entire 25-km modern high-speed route to Kragujevac will have been completed.

The works entailed the construction of two new traffic lanes, as well as full reconstruction and rehabilitation of the existing lanes on the main road. During the construction, essential utility issues (water and sewer) were solved in Batocina.

The total value of the investment in the construction of the final section of the Kragujevac-Batocina road is RSD 1.1 billion (with VAT).
