The members of the City Assembly of Leskovac have adopted the decision on the amendment of the procurement plan of the city of Leskovac for 2020 due to the construction of a stadium in the city. As said, Leskovac will be the first of the three cities, together with Zajecar and Loznica, to have a modern city stadium built. The stadium, maned Dubocica, will comply with the UEFA standards and be worth more than RSD 2.4 billion, the city's website says.

After the stadium and the parking lot are built, comprising the first phase, the second phase will entail the construction of a service sports facility north from the stadium. There will also be a third phase, which will entail the construction of a sports facility for administrative, educational and auxiliary features on the east side of the stadium.

More about what the stadium will look like can be found in a separate article.

Let us remind that the plan is to build new stadiums in Zajecar, Kragujevac, Loznica, Vranje, Kraljevo, Subotica and Novi Sad. For more detailed information about the investments in stadiums and sports courts in Serbia, take a look at our INFO-MAP.
