Western Balkans Companies Requesting Green Lanes for Transport in the Region
These chambers are the members of the Chamber Investment Forum of the Western Balkans, and its president and the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, Marko Cadez, says that companies want to make mutual business activities easier, to reduce costs and enable the carrying out of business activities in the region, and with that the meeting of contracted obligations, during the pandemic.
Cadez notes that the invitation to the governments does not amount to a call for their companies and their employees to be exempt from complying with the measures against the spreading of coronavirus, but that the aim is to find a way for everyone to go through it more quickly and easily.
As said in the letter, the green lanes would be modeled after the green corridors for goods.
