BusPlus Agreement Extended Until End-2020 Due to Coronavirus Epidemic
According to the press release, the users of public transport in Belgrade are to continue using the transportation services under the same conditions as so far, Beoinfo reports.
– This means that they can use their personalized and non-personalized cards, which they can top up, as usual, at retail outlets and validate them in the vehicles, the secretariat announced – the City of Belgrade's website says.
The Center for Local Self-Government requested the city authorities of Belgrade on October 4 to start the individual charging for tickets in public transport vehicles, as the contract with Apex Solution Technology on the BusPlus system expired on September 20, Beta reports.
The center says that the ten-year contract signed with the company “emphasizes” that, upon its expiration, all the rights and the equipment are transferred to the City of Belgrade.
