Lufthansa will suspend three lines to former Yugoslav countries this winter, due to the lowered demand caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

The airline carrier will not relaunch flights between Frankfurt and Zagreb or those between Munich and Ljubljana, which were discontinued in March. The line from Munich to Belgrade will be removed in late October.

Before the global pandemic crisis, the German airline carrier had two flights a day between Frankfurt and Zagreb, one between Munich and Ljubljana and three between Munich and Belgrade.

The three routes are expected to be made available again at the beginning of the 2021 summer season.
